📚In a Holidaze by Christina Lauren witty and sassy writing, however plot and character development was a little lacking for me. Genre: romance, humorous fiction, holiday fiction, Christmas story
📚Rebecca by Daphne de Maurier. A very slow burn that ended right when it was getting good. It was listed as a Romance at the library so I think that is what let me down. Real Genre: crime, mystery, gothic fiction
📚Maggie Finds Her Muse by Dee Ernst. Slow burn. I liked most of the characters. The second half of the book was better than the first for me. Pub Date: April 20, 2021 Genre: romance, women’s fiction🌶

I had a lot of fun this month joining @bookgoalbusters for their #bgbreadathon -they challenged me to read genres I normally wouldn’t (for me that’s gothic), and to read blacklist books this month.
